(1/6) Sony's (SNE) latest lineup of Walkman audio players is gunning for Apple's (AAPL) iPod again, but this time Sony's using a bit more firepower. The A810 and S610 offer both audio and video, the first time Sony has matched the capabilities of the iPod and iPhone in the U.S. market. These devices also play mp3 and Microsoft's (MSFT) WMA format. But can these knock SanDisk (SNDK) out of the #2 spot in audio players? And how do they look? ...

When it rains, it pours!

ANOTHER new Britney has leaked, Cold As Fire. Once again, this isn’t awful, thankfully. But, it isn’t a-ma-zing either.

This one and Gimme More are two lovely appetizers, but Britney’s next single needs to be on a whole other level.

Sources close to Spears tell us that she does have those monster hits, especially some of the songs Ne-Yo wrote for her.

She needs another Toxic and we are eagerly waiting.

Until then, this is a very respectable way to start a comeback!

Nokia's answer to the iPhone (Photos 1/7)

(1/7) Nokia (NOK) unveiled its line of multimedia phones, its attempt to take Apple (AAPL) and its iPhone and iPod lines head on. Nokia, the global leader in cell phones, has relatively modest share in the U.S. market, where Research in Motion (RIMM) leads in advanced phones and Motorola (MOT) leads overall. Today's announcement also puts the major U.S. carriers, Verizon (VZ), AT&T (T), Sprint (S) and T-Mobile (DT) on notice that some powerful phones are on the way. The lineup:

Famewhoring father Michael Lohan is finally getting his dream - a reunion with estranged daughter Lindsay.

Dina is reportedly okay with the decision.

“It was actually her older brother, Michael’s, idea. It’s a part of the healing process,” a friend said. “Lindsay will see him later this week, but she will have counselors with her. It will not be alone.”

Daddy will visit Lindsay at her rehab facility in Utah.

“Dina thinks it is a good idea,” the friend said. “Lindsay needs to deal with this and needs closure.”
